![]() ![]() Each line here represents a commander and his army. Well actually only 3 of those are real routes, the others 2 are a non winnable route and a route in which you kill the character responsible for starting the story very early, which means the chain of events of the main scenario never happens. The normal mode is divided into 6 "routes", the true route in which you're locked in your first playthrough, and 5 "what if" routes with totally different scenarios that you can do in 2nd games by choosing certain new events. It's basically a different game, still very good tho. The FFA mode is a pure strategy mode, it contains no story, but allows you to play any country and faction you choose, and add building construction and deeper resource management to the game. The game has 2 main modes : the Normal mode, or story mode which I'll play here, and the Free for All mode, which is unlocked after you finish the game once. This game is Japanese only, but some awesome folks released a fan made translation patch, god bless them. In contrast to most adult games, the gameplay is the main selling point and Alice Soft is often called the Atlus of Eroge because they're one of the few (the only ?) company who make extremely addictive and deep adult games. You always keep the clear points from your "best" walkthrough, that is the one with the most points.Sengoku Rance (SR from now on) is a turn based strategy adult game made by Alice Soft, a Japanese developper. For me it was the monkey route, since even though I took 140+ turns, I accomplished most extra quests (Orochi, 300 girls) and cleared most everyone in my roster, additionally giving them the point bonus as passve skills.įrom what I heard leveling Rance high enough makes him strong enough to off Masamune regardless of his eyedrops, so you could always try overleveling. Rance and Kentarou on lv88 are even able to survive Orochi's earthquake attack. The boni are easy enough to get for the most part. For Takeda do the assassination event and retrieve the four generals, then sortie them all in one battle. For Masamune have them all join you and receive a beginning-of-turn event. Uesugi and Houjou only require you to finish their respective routes. Personally I doubt the usefulness of the Houjou bonus though, giving you Ran and Komatsu with Souun already missing. Either you enter the Ran oute again or do a monkey route, otherwise you will have even less use out of it. Lol, slept until 1:30pm today and missed school >_>Īlso missed to call them to tell I'm "sick", because it can only be done before 12. I'd really like to unlock everything, yes. So far the only good thing I've unlocked except items is the Mouri family bonus.īut. doing it slow will give me the bonuses, but won't I end up with no points at the end? Or do I keep the points from the last play if they're more?Īnd if I do get 0 and I load the last save in my last playthrough and complete it again to get more points, do I keep the bonuses from the other play? I've played the game a lot, but only completed it once (On one game I just have do defeat Masamune in a commander battle, but I couldn't capture the cyclops because of the Hibachi shit so he got unlimited Eyedrops making it impossible to make it even with a Rance + Sill combo).Īnd as you say, I also just use the ninjas for Assassination or sometimes as cancellers. They just never seem to do any good damage and they die too fast. I guess I'll start over on the game and follow a guide to get the bonuses.
